Retail Stores throughout Oregon
The Made In Oregon retail store depicted below
is located at Portland International Airport and was designed to celebrate Oregon and its regionally-produced wares. The Airport’s stringent sustainability requirements dictated that no synthetics or plastics could be used in the design. The store’s circulation layout had to consider not only typical retail foot traffic, but also the luggage that airport customers would be carrying or dragging behind them. The new 950 sf store is clean and uncluttered, while maintaining a distinctly Northwest feel. It incorporates special lights, sculptural fiberglass trees, a living wall, and retail fixtures manufactured out of sustainable materials by local craftspeople. This is just one of many stores that MCA has designed for Made In Oregon over the years.
