Evergreen Space Museum

MCA designed 143,000 sf of tenant improvements for the Evergreen Space Museum. Within an existing building shell, MCA created an elevated walkway for artifact observation, and two second-floor mezzanine spaces, each served by an elevator and two stairs. The design incorporates specialized HVAC, lighting, security and fire protection systems throughout the building. Distinct spaces within the museum include: a restoration workshop; a gift shop with office and storage; café, kitchen and gelato retail areas; a wine bar with storage and open plan seating; and the 8,300 sf Education Center on the second floor.
